About
Our Story
Care Aid Africa was created in 2014 by a group of Canadian volunteers all born and raised in Africa. Growing up, we saw first-hand the effects of many economic and societal issues including poverty, domestic violence, poor sanitation, and a lack of education. As citizens of the world, we understand that it is our duty to work together to build a world where each and every person has the ability to achieve their life’s passion. By supporting communities with the resources they need to succeed, Care Aid Africa works in partnership with local communities to empower individuals to take ownership of their lives and become contributing members of society.

Our History
Governance & Accountability
As a registered Canadian charity, Care Aid Africa complies with all rules and regulations set forth by the Canadian Revenue Agency. Care Aid Africa is comprised of strictly volunteers. Care Aid Africa is annually audited by a third party to ensure correct use of funds and oversight.
The Dollar for Dollar Model
Care Aid Africa Foundation is able to use every dollar donated towards communities that need it the most. For every dollar given, a dollar is used to provide the resources to strengthen the communities we work in. With a team comprised of 100% volunteers, we are able to keep overhead costs low and focus on providing the best outcomes for the individuals and families impacted by our programs. We thank our private donors who support us annually to cover our low administrative costs.
